In Conversation with Schoenstatt
Sisters of Mary in Switzerland
What fascinates you about our Sisters Family?
Sister M. Margarit Baumeler
I’m fascinated that in our sisters‘ family, as in Schoenstatt overall, each person is seen as a unique personality.
Also the idea of inner freedom and the fostering of joy.
That Father Joseph Kentenich consciously founded us as a FAMILY. I think that is what radiates and attracted me, in any case.
In a community, no one is a superhero; rather, it is mutual enrichment.
Our striving for holiness is nice—each one strives for it and is on the way to holiness.
Sister M. Paula Tschirky
Actually, I didn’t care which religious order I joined; but now I am glad that I was called to join the Schoenstatt Sisters of Mary. It still fascinates me today!
Sister M. Daniela Scattolin
Even today I feel safe and at home and that makes me very happy.
Sister. M. Honorata Ciesla
– The person of our fatherr and founder, Father Joseph Kentenich
– Our father and founder’s and Schoenstatt’s love for the Blessed Mother
– The family character of our community
– Our world-wide unity
Sister M. Lea Zweifel
The education of our father and founder towards a deep love for the Blessed Mother and the Triune God and, through that, to our co-sisters and all people in order to serve and work apostolically in inner freedom and as a personality.
