The Closing of the Seventh General Chapter
of the Schoenstatt Sisters of Mary
Initiating processes, listening to each other and to God, requires time. After nine weeks of intensive work the seventh General Chapter of the Schoenstatt Sisters of Mary ended on Wednesday, November 9, 2022.
Through the processing of numerous applications and many discussions and reflections, the participants arrived at the deep conviction that God leads, especially through obstacles and challenges.
It was necessary to discover HIS strategy.
With confidence and renewed joy in living the charism of our founder in our present time and in carrying his charism into the future, the community is approaching the centennial of its foundation which will be in 2026.
We Sisters of Mary wish to express our heartfelt gratitude to all who accompanied our Seventh General Chapter with interest and prayer. Last but not least, we express our gratitude to Bishop Dr. Gebhard Fürst, who made possible Dr. Bernd Biberger’s re-election as General Director of our community by once again dispensing him from other obligations.
