During the days surrounding the 50th anniversary of the death of Father Joseph Kentenich
and in the shadow of his last resting place in the church of the Blessed Trinity,
the 9th General Congress of the Schoenstatt Sisters of Mary is taking place.
In the motherhouse of the Schoenstatt Sisters of Mary on Mount Schoenstatt there is a great deal of life and activity. Sisters from 13 nations on all continents traveled here for the 9th General Congress of the Institute which will meet from September 6 to October 13, 2018. During these weeks there will be an intensive exchange about current streams of the time, about questions within the church and society and about current themes of the community. Not least, the international gathering will set points of emphasis for a common striving in the future during this important era of the post-founder time. Spiritual high points of these days will be the common celebration of the 50th death day of Father Joseph Kentenich and a pilgrimage to Cambrai for the 100th death day of Joseph Engling.
