Exibition for the Kentenich year

Sr. M. Dagmara Könen und Sr. Mariette Bruns

WHO ARE YOU?
WHO ARE YOU TO ME?

At our educational center in Maria Rast, paintings by artists from the area are regularly exhibited every six to eight weeks in the hallways from the reception area to the offices. We ask them, or they contact us if they have an interest in it.

On the occasion of the Kentenich year, we considered designing an exhibition ourselves. It even became a project that involved the movement. For example, during a weekend meeting, the Schoenstatt Movement Girls / Young Women designed sand paintings with their favorite quotations from Father Kentenich.

That the exhibition finds a positive response is shown in a few reactions:

One of our speakers, who regularly holds seminars here, is very enthusiastic about the texts that he – photographed – wants to use for his work.

A woman also captured the wall design with her camera and asked how long the exhibition would last. “I want to come back with my group and show them this”.

Still others become aware of the special stamps for the Kentenich year through the “stamp wall” and buy them at the reception. The Novena stand and the “Father telephone” (quotes to take on small cards), we may refill regularly, because people like to take something along. A regular guest stops each time at different parts of the walls to look at the contents.

Heartfelt invitation to a virtual tour:
